This November, Matthew is taking on the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon to help ensure every child has access to not just education, but quality education.

Today, PEAS supports more than 250,000 students across Zambia, Uganda, and Ghana by building great schools and strengthening public education systems so more children can thrive.

Matthew believes every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and shape their own future. Every mile he runs helps make that vision possible.

Access to school is not the same as access to quality education. We work to make sure every child has both.

We support more than 300,000 students each year across Zambia, Uganda, and Ghana building and running great schools, and helping governments strengthen public education systems.

The results speak for themselves: in Zambia, our most recent Grade 7 students achieved a 98% pass rate, compared to a district average of 71%.

The NetGirls Zambia season is officially underway! 🏐 NetGirls is about so much more than netball. Through sport, girls build confidence, develop leadership skills, strengthen friendships, and learn life skills that extend far beyond the game. Every practice, every match, and every cheer from the sidelines helps create a space where girls can grow, belong, and thrive.

When girls have the opportunity to play, they gain the confidence to lead, in school, in their communities, and in their futures.

👟📚 Meet Team PEAS USA runner Synatras Mefoumane Ombagho .

For Synatras, this marathon is deeply personal. Growing up in Africa, she experienced firsthand how access to quality education can transform a life. Today, as a mother of two daughters, she's running to help ensure more children—especially girls—have the same opportunity to learn, dream, and build brighter futures. This year's TCS New York City Marathon is also her first marathon and her first visit to New York City, making every mile even more meaningful.
