Is writing becoming a lost art? Back in 2003, the New York Times published this interesting article by Tamar Lewin about how the skill of writing is becoming a thing of the past. Presently in 2012, things are not any better. Here at Sylvan Learning, we promote the art of writing and encourage students to embrace the written language.

At Sylvan Learning, we always focus on the consistency and involvement of parents in their child’s education. We promote bringing children to and from our center to ensure that they are attending, as well as getting involved with the center so that everyone is on the same page educationally. City schools are now realizing the importance too.
