What can abandoned prisons teach us about history, justice, and society?
Queensborough history professor and author Clarence Jefferson Hall, Jr. recently led a tour through Camp Gabriels, a former tuberculosis sanatorium, college campus, and minimum-security prison—exploring the site's complex past and the stories it continues to tell about incarceration, memory, and New York history.

Discover Visual Archeology, the first New York solo exhibition by internationally acclaimed artist Wei Qingji, on view at the QCC Art Gallery from July 2–September 25.
Blending traditional Chinese ink painting with contemporary perspectives, the exhibition explores memory, culture, and everyday life through striking works on rice paper.

From Queensborough to the cosmos! 🌌
Queensborough graduate Paige Krsnak was selected as a featured speaker at the CUNY Research Scholars Program Symposium, where she presented her astrophysics research on black holes and galaxy simulations.
After earning her A.S. in Physics this spring, Paige will continue pursuing her passion for astrophysics at Queens College this fall. We're proud to celebrate her remarkable journey and dedication to scientific discovery.
