💡City Talk Student Spotlight! 💡— 👩‍🎓[ Catherine ]👩‍🎓

📣♥️ Catherine’s Testimonial: 📣♥️

🚩My learning journey with City Talk started in 2021, but my learning was put on a halt due to pregnancy.
I'm glad to embrace City Talk again. Every piece of great memory with City Talk is back!

🚩This time I learned from Kate and Ayana at the same time.
Both Kate and Ayana have teaching experience in Taiwan and know what mistakes Taiwanese students make.

🚩They are really good at improving my pronunciation and always let me know how to rephrase my redundant wording.
The teaching materials they prepared are always practical with so much fun. I really enjoy it.
When I have the presentation needs for work and call for help, Ayana also provided me with her professional point of view for my preparation.

🚩City Talk is such a great learning partner! I would say that if you are looking for English learning resources, you will find what you want from City Talk!

💡City Talk Student Spotlight! 💡— 👩‍🎓[ Tina ]👩‍🎓

📣♥️ Tina’s Testimonial: 📣♥️

🚩Hello, my name is Tina.I live in Taiwan.

🚩I have attended the City Talk program for almost one year. Because of my work demands, I started to take English lessons during my leisure time since 2013. The course content includes conversation and English news. However, I could not feel the progress until joining teacher Kate’s podcast lessons, this American Life. The weekly based courses are anticipated and assist me to develop habits of listening to the English podcast every day. Besides studying English,

🚩Kate’s teaching material makes me understand the cultural differences between America and Taiwan. The Q&A on the podcast content allows me to practice the conversation and deeply enhance my cognition. It is also very interesting for me to learn the podcast stories with role play.

🚩Kate always attentively adjusts my pronunciation by multiple listening and repeating, making a lot of effort on discussing and answering my questions on the podcast content, sentences, and idioms. Currently, it is a pleasure for me to prepare lessons before the class. I am more confident when speaking English and feel great progress in my conversational abilities. I highly recommend trying out the podcast lessons.

🚩I’m so delighted to meet Kate and also glad to join City Talk!
