An engaging and highly informative day at the CEANY Region East Conference 2026, focused on equity and inclusion, with meaningful discussions on supporting refugee and immigrant communities and an afternoon dedicated to follow-up, job placement, and retention strategies.

Kicking off our CEANY Region East Conference with a presentation by Dr. Todd Marshall on Supporting Refugees and Immigrant Learners in Uncertain Times.

What an incredible day at the Continuing Education Association of New York Region South Conference!
From start to finish, the sessions were engaging, insightful, and truly thought-provoking. It was inspiring to be in a room filled with dedicated professionals committed to advancing continuing education, workforce development, and student success.
The conversations sparked new ideas, challenged perspectives, and reinforced the importance of collaboration across our institutions. Events like the CEANY Region South Conference remind us just how impactful our work is—and how much we can accomplish together.
A big thank you to the organizers and everyone who contributed to such a meaningful experience.

The CEANY Region West Conference on Friday, April 17th at Corning Community College brought together an inspiring group of professionals dedicated to advancing adult and continuing education across the region.
A special thank you to Ericka Lehman for setting the tone with a warm and engaging welcome that energized the day from the start. Our morning speaker, Jamie Johnson, delivered insightful and thought-provoking remarks that sparked meaningful conversations among attendees.
Participants also had the opportunity to explore innovative Makerspace items, showcasing hands-on tools and creative applications that can be integrated into programming. A highlight for many were the CEANY slate coasters, given away during the end-of-day raffle—both a practical keepsake and a fun way to close out the event.
The afternoon panel brought together diverse perspectives, offering valuable insights and real-world strategies that attendees can bring back to their own institutions and programs.
Thank you to everyone, especially Region West chair, Tyre Camille Bush, who contributed to making this conference a success—your engagement and collaboration continue to strengthen our community.

As a scholarship recipient she will receive an award of $500 to support the implementation of her proposed project.
