Grade 8 is officially D.C. bound! TSC Alums, drop a ๐ if you remember your D.C. trip!
A longstanding TSC tradition, the annual Washington, D.C. trip brings students beyond the classroom to deepen their exploration of social justice, resistance and reflection through shared experiences across the city. Just as importantly, the trip creates space for connection, laughter and memories that many alums still talk about years later.

Kindergarten students recently welcomed a very special guest author and illustrator, our very own Middle Division Art Teacher, Qing Zhuang! During her visit, she shared her book "Rainbow Shopping" and spoke about the journey from childhood memories and poetry to published storybook. Students asked insightful questions throughout the visit, inspiring conversations about creativity, storytelling and how authors can begin at any age, perfectly aligned to their Personal Narratives unit.
