Leadership and Public Service High School

Leadership and Public Service High School Leadership and Public Service High School is located in the heart of Wall Street at 90 Trinity Place

Leadership & Public Service High School was founded in 1993 as one of 30 small, theme-based schools introduced in New York City by the Board of Education. The school’s mission and curriculum were designed in conjunction with faculty and alumni of Syracuse University’s renowned Maxwell School. The connection between Syracuse University and our high school is both unique and dynamic, and continues to play a vital role in the lives of our students. Leadership is uniquely located in the heart of the Financial District in a fourteen-story building. Our location provides students with unique opportunities for real-world experiences, and our students are constantly involved within the community. We boast a multicultural population that represents all five boroughs, and the staff at Leadership works hard to ensure each student’s learning experience is personalized, rigorous, and rewarding. At Leadership, we believe in empowering students to make choices and meet challenges that bring about needed change. We encourage an appreciation for diversity and believe in promoting leadership skills and public service as an integral part of a student’s academic and personal development.
