Dear Friends, Fans, and Family,

I am thrilled to announce that next month I will be performing the Harrison Violin Concerto with the Manhattan School of Music Percussion Ensemble. I’m so excited to play this rarely-performed piece. It’s unlike any other concerto for the violin! I never in my wildest dreams imagined I would perform a solo concerto at MSM, but I’m glad I get to kickstart my solo ambitions. Tickets are free, livestream link is below. Concert date is 4/6 @7:30pm.

* Short addendum to my video: I’ve learned much more since I recorded it last month. The percussionists are not banging on ceramic pots, they are *playing* flower pots. The objects may be considered “found” but Harrison is actually very specific. The percussionists will play coffee pots, brake drums, etc.
