"The Art of the Educator Show Reception was well attended on Oct. 23rd at the Manhattan Borough President’s Office. Thirty educators were celebrated and received certificates from the Borough President, as their art work is on display at the Maggie Peyton Gallery at 1 Centre Street, 19th floor south.

This NYCATA/UFT exhibit is open to view until Dec. 3rd, during business hours."

At this town hall, attendees will hear from Joy Pace, the Director of Art Education for the DOE. She will share insights on opportunities available for art teachers and students. She will also cover the support provided by the DOE Arts Office and what to anticipate for the upcoming school year.

The Frick, the Museum of Modern Art, the Museum of Design, the Studio Museum of Harlem, the Brooklyn and Bronx Museums, Materials for the Arts and more will also present their services and programs for teachers and students this school year.

The New York City Art Teachers Association invites you to submit your work for our upcoming art show. This is your chance to share your talent and creativity with the NYC arts community and to see what your peers have been making.
Showcase your latest paintings, photographs, alongside some of the city's most innovative art educators. Don't miss this opportunity to connect with fellow teachers, gain exposure, and celebrate the incredible artistic spirit of our city.

New Event at the Frick Collection 🎉🎉🎉

Event: Student Night
Date: Thursday, September 25, 4:00 – 8:00 PM
To join us register through the Frick collection website:

High school, college, and graduate students are invited to join us for a fun-filled evening of art and culture at the historic Frick mansion! This student-only event features talks, art-making activities, live music, and free snacks and beverages. All galleries and the Frick Art Research Library’s reading room will be open late.

This event is free for students ages 13 and up with a valid school ID. Registration is encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome.
