What a blessing to be a part of this full-circle moment!
I was there for Mrs. Dopslauf’s first day on campus (starting her career as a 1st grade teacher) to her final day on campus (retiring after 30+ years).
I started as a 1st grade student, ended as her principal/boss 🥹
Have a great retirement, Mrs. Dopslauf!! You were one of the best to ever do it!! 🫶🏾

Strong word! 🔥 There’s more in you!

To be honest, I don’t do this work for applause or recognition. My greatest joy comes from pouring into others, celebrating their accomplishments, encouraging growth, and helping people see the greatness within themselves.
Even on the hard days, I know I’m walking in purpose, and that alone is rewarding. To be recognized with Brag Awards while simply doing something I’m passionate about is both humbling and emotional for me 🥹
I’m grateful for every opportunity to serve, lead, and make a difference. I’ll continue to celebrate others loudly while giving God glory every step of the way 💙

Kindness costs nothing, but it can change everything.
A smile, a kind word, a helping hand, or simply showing grace to someone who may be struggling silently can make a lasting impact.
In a world where you can be anything, choose to be kind 🧡🩷
Lead with love, speak with compassion, and treat people the way God calls us to.
“Be kind and compassionate to one another…” [Ephesians 4:32]

🎵 How sweet it is to be loved by you 🎵❤️
The staff and students surprised me in wonderful ways in honor of Principals’ Day! Their intentionality is what made it so special 🫶🏾
It has truly been an honor to lead at ELI the last 3 years. This year has presented some challenges, but one thing I know…we always persevere!!
Last but not least…It was a privilege to share this day with our awesome cafeteria staff! (Today was School Lunch Hero Day) Mrs. Stacey, Mrs. Aurelia, and Mrs. Norma definitely deserve so much recognition for the early morning preparations, the amazing meals they make at our school, and the kindness and smiles they bring everyday!

Leadership isn’t just about authority, it’s about influence. And the strongest influence you can have is rooted in love.
Love listens. Love corrects with care. Love stays consistent when emotions fluctuate. Love leads with integrity, even when no one is watching.
That’s the kind of leadership that changes environments, restores people, and leaves a lasting impact. ❤️
