Happening NOW! Throughout the years, minorities specifically blacks, browns and hispanics have been targeted and have undergone mass incarceration. The system in America has shown time and time again that it was not made for us. We are partnering up with to facilitate a panel discussion the impact of mass incarceration and harsh immigration practices TONIGHT at 6pm in Kimmel 804/805. We hope to see you there!

🤙🏾 Today the Upsilon Upsilon Chapter tabled in the Kimmel Center Lobby with volunteers helping the Be The Match Registry for the Icla Da Silva foundation. We are currently working to find a bone marrow match for a 6-year-old African American boy named Asaya Bullock. He was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder named I-PEX and it has been difficult to find a match for him since African American registered donors only make up 6% of the registry (other minorities, even less).

Greenwood is a neighborhood in Tulsa, Oklahoma which was home to one of the most prominent concentrations of African-American businesses in the United States during the early 20th century. It was popularly known as America's "Black Wall Street" until the Tulsa race riot of 1921, in which the Oklahoma state government with the assistance of Tulsa's white residents massacred hundreds of black residents and razed the neighborhood within hours.

The Upsilon Upsilon Chapter will be hosting its PHirst Annual Miss Black and Gold Scholarship Pageant this Spring and will be having an informational for YOUNG LADIES interested in competing for the Crown to become the PHirst Miss Black and Gold QUEEN representing the Upsilon Upsilon Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc!

YY along with the Upper Echelon Tau Epsilon Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority held a great fundraiser for the Flint Water Crisis in Michigan! We will be donating the proceeds from all of those who bought Roses. Thank you! 🤙🏾
