As the year comes to a close, we wish everyone a wonderful holiday season filled with joy and rest. Last week, our teachers gathered to celebrate the season with a much deserved holiday lunch. We were also happy to welcome a few guests of the DSD II examination board from outside the school who joined us on this special day.

A few weeks ago, we celebrated our annual holiday party, and it was truly magical.
Our students completely stole the show with their adorable and joyful performances.
A special visit from Santa brought extra excitement, and we enjoyed delicious food, a lively raffle, and a wonderful book sale, all made possible by our amazing community.

Congratulations to our DSD 1 and DSD 2 Students!
We are proud of our students who received their Deutsches Sprachdiplom (DSD I & II) certificates at the Diplomfeier hosted by the German Consulate in New York. The Deutsches Sprachdiplom (DSD) is an official language diploma of the German government that certifies German language proficiency.

What an inspiring weekend at the Bildungstagung 2025 - Dialog. Gemeinschaft. Zukunft. It was wonderful to reconnect with colleagues, exchange ideas, and gain new impulses for our work. I enjoyed both giving and attending workshops. Thank you to ZFA and Forum Deutsch for organizing this wonderful event.

Big thank you to for such a wonderful tour on Saturday! We loved cruising through Chinatown, Little Italy, and Brooklyn and going over two bridges! The bikes were super comfy and our German tour guides made it all even more interesting with their fun stories and great energy.

What is DSD 2?
This prestigious exam is taken as the final language exam. It satisfies the language requirements for entrance to universities in German speaking countries. Most American colleges recognize it and award credit.

Registration for the Deutsche Sprachschule New York, Inc.'s Fall 2025 Saturday School classes is now open!

The German Language School dedicates Saturday mornings to fulfilling a wide-range of proficiency levels, from beginner to advanced, and from child to adult. Their main goal is to provide students with a “full immersion” program, in which they may learn, practice, and grow their understanding of the German language and culture of German speaking countries.

Whether you're seeking continuous education from preschool or aiming for advanced placement exams and the Sprachdiplom DSD (which presents the language prerequisites to enter the University System of the German-speaking countries in Europe), it's the right place.
