We are celebrating Arts In Education Week by helping spread the word about GIVE OUT LOUD, a new podcast hosted by New Victory Teaching Artist Sofiya Cheyenne Brown! 🎙️🎉

GIVE (Growing Inclusivity for Vibrant Engagement) is a collaborative project between New Victory, ArtsConnection, and Community-Word Project that supports arts educators in the creation of liberated learning environments and vibrant arts experiences within inclusion settings.

Tune in with Sofiya as she speaks with Arielle Lever, New Victory Teaching Artist; Jashua Sa-Ra, Teaching Artist at Community-Word Project; and Andrew Strano, Teaching Artist at ArtsConnection, about how they are bringing inclusive practices to their classroom using the GIVE Guide.

After six incredible years of leadership, we extend our deepest gratitude to Rachel Watts, who served as Executive Director of ArtsConnection from 2020–2026.

Rachel's vision, passion, and unwavering commitment to arts education have helped shape ArtsConnection in meaningful ways, strengthening opportunities for young people, empowering teaching artists, and advancing our mission across New York City. Her leadership has left a lasting impact on our organization and the communities we serve.

As Rachel begins an exciting new chapter, we know The DreamYard Project is gaining an exceptional leader and a true champion for youth, creativity, and the arts. We couldn't be happier for her and wish her every success in this next adventure.
