Shavuot is almost here, and we’d love to celebrate with you at Congregation Habonim!

Shavuot begins at sunset on Thursday, May 21; and we have services on the Upper West Side on Friday, May 22 and Saturday May 23.

Join us as we welcome guest Rabbi Mark Somerstein for two uplifting morning services, along with special moments for families and our wider community.

All are welcome! Come learn, pray, remember, and celebrate the giving of Torah together with the Habonim community.

We have more construction photos to share with you! There’s been so much construction activity at our new home on 65th street there are so many workers buzzing around. Scaffolding was put up so work on the high ceilings can start this spring!

Here are some construction photos of the sanctuary, from inside the entrance into the chapel, and a fresh look at the western half of the exterior!

We look forward to sharing more about our new home on the Upper West Side as it continues to take shape!

Take a look at what our amazing new Nursery School playground will look like in the courtyard of our new Upper West Side home!

Designed in collaboration with our wonderful Nursery School staff, the space features play areas for our youngest learners on the left and fun, dynamic activities for our older Nursery School kids on the right.

We can’t wait for all our Habonim kids, parents, teachers, and community members to experience this spectacular new space together — it’s going to be something truly special! 💙🏫✨
