Did you know ?

👣 Rapid growth slows down compared to infancy, but toddlers still gain about 4–6 pounds and grow 2–3 inches each year.

🧠 Brain development is huge—by age 3, a child’s brain has reached about 80% of its adult size.

🗣️ Language explosion usually happens between ages 18–24 months; toddlers may go from saying a few words to hundreds.

🖐️ Fine motor skills emerge—stacking blocks, using a spoon, or starting to scribble.

Behavior & Emotions

😭 Tantrums are normal—they’re a toddler’s way of coping with frustration since self-regulation is still developing.

❤️ Attachment is strong—toddlers may show separation anxiety but also crave independence.

🎭 Imitation is key—they copy adults’ actions, speech, and even emotions (they’re little sponges).

😂 Sense of humor begins—they start finding simple things funny, like peekaboo or silly sounds.

🎯 Why Attendance Matters
(Infants, Toddlers & 3K)

🧠 Boosts Learning – Kids grow best when they’re present every day.
👫 Builds Social Skills – Daily play teaches sharing, talking & friendships.
📅 Creates Routine – Consistency prepares them for school success.
🔍 Early Support – Teachers can spot and help with any delays.

🔁 How Routines Help Children
🛡️ Feel Safe – Knowing what’s next lowers stress.
🧼 Build Independence – Kids learn to follow simple steps.
😴 Healthy Habits – Regular naps, meals & play keep them thriving.
🗣️ Boost Language – Repeating daily activities grows vocabulary.
