Today, as we are near the Juneteenth holiday (June 19th), our inquisitive students are delivered a masterful presentation by the school's very own star, Monica. She gave us a history lesson of the importance of the holiday, teamed up with another teacher, Bruce, to bring the students into a game of Kahoots, and it all ended with sweet tea and cornbread- also handmade by Monica!

In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, our star intern, Jeongeun, hosted her very first presentation for the Kaplan students, teachers, and staff. She organized some of our great students to sit on the panel to share their experiences here in the US. Jeongeun and the students did a fantastic job! 👏
