Next up in our Summer Student Work Series, we wanted to spotlight Twin Pines Theatre Company’s production of Hamlet this past summer. Fordham students got to be a part of this production in Guilford, Connecticut. Using skills learned within the program, they tackled this heightened text and had a sold out run. We’re so proud of our rams!

Fordham Theatre invites you to be a part of the 2026-27 MainStage Season: Rise and Resistance: Acts of Defiance. With leading innovative directors and designers at the helm of each of the four plays, we hope that you will take advantage of the opportunity to further your artistry and expand your community by auditioning for each Fordham Theatre production. It’s an opportunity for you to share your talents with the wider community and continue in practice the lessons from the classroom.

This next week we want to highlight all the beautiful work our current Fordham Theatre students have been working on throughout the summer outside of Fordham!

First up, we want to shoutout Blackout, written by rising senior Catherine Otero-Canton. What started as a studio show this past Fall is now on its way to The Tank tonight at 9:30pm! Tonight is sold out but there will be an in-person waitlist at the door. For more info check out BLACKOUT.

And finally for our final Senior Showcase Spotlight we have Kat Fosmoen and Cade Parker! Two actors who love to commit to@the craft and never fail to amaze us. Congrats Kat and Cade and the rest of the Class of 2026. We cannot wait to see all the amazing things you will go on to do!!

Our final Design and Production student spotlighted from the Class of 2026 is Raina Williams! A director and lighting designer who aims to create meta art for viewers to reconsider their present realities. We’re so proud of Raina and the rest of the Class of 2026! Stay tuned for the final scene from showcase as we wrap up our summer showcase series.

Our second to last scene has come and it’s the amazingly talented Brian Tong and Maia Kraskouskas! We’re so proud of all the things these two have accomplished here at Fordham and cannot wait to see where they go next. Congrats Brian and Maia, and the rest of the Class of 2026!!

Our second to last D&P student we want to congratulate is the our Playwright and Sound designer John Wikane! John loves exploring the complexities of the q***r experiences and loves to create work that can help spark change in the world around him. Congrats John and the rest of the Class of 2026!!

Our next designer is Elijah Warrington! A lighting and sound designer who loves any experience that’s leaves people with a sense of wonder. Elijah strives to bring an expressive and explosive energy to every project in any way possible. We’re so proud of Elijah and the rest of the Class of 2026!!
