Ever wonder how the first high heels came about? 👠


You may have noticed men sporting some killer fashion choices while watching period pieces... pilgrim heels included! It started when the Kings of Europe went wild after meeting Persian soldiers.. who during battle preferred a shoe with a big heel while riding. Soon, Men all over Europe started wearing heels as a sign of their masculinity 💪🏻 and status.🤴🏻


It wasn’t until the 17th century, that heels became fashionable for women to wear. They wore heels to imitate men wearing them, and show their own masculinity!


This made men stop wearing heels....it kinda ruined the whole masculinity display for them 😳


And here I thought people just liked how they looked 😲 Interesting enough, after having two kids my heels don’t even fit anymore... not like I need them working from home 🤣
