Today, 17 Sivan, marks the day that Noah’s Ark came to rest atop Mt. Ararat🚢after 150 days of drifting in the waters🌊.
At the Jewish Children’s Museum, the story comes alive. Climb aboard, explore the Ark 🕊️🐑🦒, and connect the Parsha story to real museum play!

Hi👋, my name is Zusha. I’m in charge of the museum's technology👨💻.
My favorite exhibit is the Shavuot one✨. It’s all run on pneumatics. A pneumatic device squeezes air into a container. When the air is released, it rushes out and pushes the machine's parts, making them move.
That's exactly how the Shavuot exhibit runs! Pushing a button causes compressed air to propel the Har Sinai flowers to pop out, and push down the Luchot⛰️🟦🟦, all while making a subtle noise. I happen to really like the sound the air makes. Listen out for it the next time you’re there!
Happy Shavuot🌸🌷🌹🪻

Here’s the secret behind the Mezuzah🤫: It’s what’s inside that makes the difference🚀.
You can have the most beautiful Mezuzah case in the world🌎, but if you don’t have a proper, Kosher Mezuzah scroll📜 inside, it won’t do the trick ❌.
Like the Mezuzah, remember that what's inside of us is most important - the soul✨.
