Representation matters in STEM, and our mentees are leading the charge! We're thrilled to share where our students have interned in recent years. We're honored to support them on their journeys! Keep shining, mentees! ✨🌟💫

We are accepting applications for mentees for the 2023 cohort. Applications are due by Sunday, January 22, 2023. If you are a current mentee, you must apply again to be a part of the program in 2023.

Founded in 2020, the Black Undergraduate Mentorship Program (BUMP) in Biology aims to assist Black-identifying undergraduates at Columbia and Barnard in navigating STEM fields by providing mentees with access to tailored mentorship and resources. Learn more by clicking on the application link:

In celebration of a successful year, we’d like to share these photos from our first annual research symposium. Our amazing mentees drew crowds from across the various campuses as they share their research work and indulge keenly with the attendees.

We are looking forward to another great year in 2023! 🎉
