🤰 Shorten your labor, minimize tearing, reduce c-section risk

Most people don’t realize this: šŸ‘‡

Your body doesn’t automatically know how to release your pelvic floor mid-pushing. šŸ‘€ It doesn’t automatically breathe in a way that keeps you calm instead of panicking.

As a prenatal yoga teacher and pelvic floor expert, I know this makes all the difference!

šŸ’¬Ā Tap follow and comment READY to get your pelvic floor ready for birth!

Nobody teaches you this before labor...and then you’re expected to just ā€œknowā€ what to do.

3 births. Under 9 hours each. Zero tearing. That wasn’t luck — it was preparation.

I’m a certified pelvic floor + prenatal yoga specialist, and I built the exact training I wish someone had handed me before my first birth.

This is a skill. You can learn it!!

That’s exactly why I created my Birth-Ready Pelvic Floor masterclass. šŸ’¬Ā Tap follow and comment READY to join me live for class!

I promise:

Your pelvic floor is NOT your enemy during labor.

It’s actually one of your biggest assets.

When it’s prepared, it does exactly what it needs to do.

The whole job of the pelvic floor in labor is to relax and open so baby can move through.

(Note: the pelvic floor does NOT push the baby out.)

But if it’s holding tension, it creates resistance.

And resistance makes everything harder:

😣 Longer labor.

😣 More risk of tearing.

😣 More chance of intervention.

The good news is that this is something you can actively prepare for.

You do NOT have to just hope for the best.

This is exactly what I teach inside Birth-Ready Pelvic Floor.

I’ve had 3 tear-free births not because of luck or genetics, but because I’ve learned to do this:

As a prenatal yoga teacher and pelvic floor expert, I know that…

ā€¼ļø One of the BEST things I’ve done is learn to relax my pelvic floor. ā€¼ļø

(šŸ’¬ Tap follow and comment PREP to learn this too!)

Because when the pelvic floor muscles are holding on for dear life (squeeze squeeze squeeze!), your body might be resisting labor.

A tight pelvic floor creates resistance that can cause tearing in the push phase.

A tight pelvic floor is not conducive to a baby getting out and can be THE reason you’re wheeled into the OR instead of pushing in a delivery room.

For so many moms, the key to unlocking the labor you dream of has to do with relaxing the pelvic floor.

And it all starts with understanding what the pelvic floor is and how it works.

That’s why I created my Birth-Ready Pelvic Floor masterclass. šŸ’¬ Tap follow and comment PREP to join me live on Tuesday, and let’s get you ready for birth!!

No, my friend, tearing is not just random luck during birth!!

If you’re pregnant, reallyyyyyy don’t want to tear and want to learn exactly what to do to shorten your labor, minimize tearing, and reduce your chances of intervention & c-section, comment BIRTH down below šŸ‘‡

Even besides my own 3 births with no tearing, as a prenatal yoga teacher & pelvic floor expert, I’ve helped 100s of moms have happy births.

I’ve had moms tell me, ā€œSarah! You saved my pelvic floor!ā€

I’ve had moms spared from severe tearing because they’re literally thinning of me + what I’ve taught them as they’re pushing their baby out. šŸ˜†

(you can’t make this stuff up!)

Most people do kegels to prepare for birth, but did you know that’s actually kind of the WORST thing you can do??🫣

That’s why I created a whole class on this. It’s called Birth-Ready Pelvic Floor: Why Kegels AREN’T the Answer.

šŸ’¬ Tap follow and comment BIRTH and I’ll send you a link to sign up for class šŸ‘‡
