Who does squats at the gym purely for ENJOYMENT? Not too many people...😄

Similarly, it can be easy to fall victim to the temptation of only doing the “fun” vocal exercises when we sing. It’s important to balance your practice with a combination of exercises that you love and those that are challenging and necessary. After warming up, start with an exercise that you know needs improvement while your energy and focus are at their peak. Later, reward yourself by doing one you excel at or a song that’s especially fun!

Make sure you include at least a few tedious and less glamorous exercises during your vocal workout. Time spent in these nuanced coordinations are often what makes your vocal fold control nice and TONED UP!🎤
