🎌Kumiko Kanayama is a Shiatsu Grand Master, and Founder of The Five Lights Center of Shiatsu Studies, is a Intuitive Shiatsu™ practitioner and teacher. I-Shiatsu™ is a method that Kumiko developed throughout 30 years of studying Shiatsu, including over 20 years with her uncle, Ohashi, a pioneer of shiatsu in the West.
Throughout the years of learning and teaching as a Certified Ohashiatsu® Instructor, Kumiko explored number of therapies such as Vibrational Sound, color, Dowsing, Reiki, Reflexology, Anma, Tai Chi Chung, Medical Astrology to name a few. She has also pursued studies at several holistic centers in US: NewYork Open Center, Omega Institute for Holistic Studies, Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, Himalayan Institute and Integral Yoga Institute.
⛩ Five Lights Center was established by Kumiko Kanayama in 2012 and represents the oldest Shiatsu practice in America. The name "Five Lights Center" was given to Kumiko by her Buddhist teachers and mentors.
