To Our Teachers and Students:

It saddens us to report that this will be the last semester for The Center for Learning and Living. We have made a very difficult decision to close the school. CL&L never really recovered from the Covid pandemic, which caused us to have to go online. That substantially increased our technical costs and with the resulting declining enrollment, we determined that we are now unable to financially sustain the school. You have been faithful to us for so many years that it breaks our hearts that we can no longer continue. So, we thank you our teachers, you our students and also staff members Karen and Julia for all of their great work during these difficult years. But we cannot end this school without thanking Judy. It is only because of her efforts that we have been able to last this long. She has dedicated her life to the school. We know of no one who could have survived the 24/7 schedule that Judy has kept for over a decade. We know you will join us, the members of the board, to give a heartfelt thank you to Judy Langer, our exceptional Executive Director.

Aug 13 1-2:30pm: Larry Geneen, Politics 2025. Larry, our politics teacher, will talk about the dramatically evolving political scene, with the US’s involvement in the Middle East and Congressional battles. Larry conducts research on the issues and welcomes an interactive discussion.
