We move forward not driven by fear, but by faith — faith in our mission, our community, and a future where Jewish life flourishes with strength and dignity. Every contribution sends a powerful message that WE REFUSE TO BE INTIMIDATED!!

Last week, Park East Synagogue was deliberately targeted in an antisemitic protest—an attack not on a building, but on our history, our mission, and our identity as a proud center of Jewish life.
For more than six decades, Park East has stood at the forefront of combating , defending Israel, and educating the world about Jewish values and resilience. We remain a beacon of pride for Am Yisrael, a historic landmark, and a spiritual home for our community and for Jewish leaders from around the world.
Our response is firm and forward-looking:
• Strengthening our physical security to keep Park East a safe and welcoming home.
• Deepening our moral leadership through education, dialogue, and programs that strengthen understanding and support for Israel.
Today, we are asking our broader community to stand with us. We are raising $1,000,000 to secure and strengthen Park East for the future — and thanks to the Wilf Family Foundation, every dollar will be matched up to $1,000,000.
Your support sends a clear message: we refuse to be intimidated.

Hands-on Torah learning came to life at Park East Day School last Tuesday!
Our students joined Sulamot’s “Letters of Love – Ahava Program”, exploring the beauty of Torah writing with Rabbi Yehuda Elon and even using real quills to write their own letters.
A heartfelt thank-you to Sulamot and to our principal Debbie Rochlin for inspiring our students to see that every letter — and every one of us — has a place in our shared story. 💙📜

Park East Synagogue is deeply saddened by the tragic death of Wesley LePatner, a dynamic Woman of Valor, wise and generous, an exemplary leader of the New York Jewish community and support for Israel.
As a former parent of the Rabbi Arthur Schneier Park East Day School, and Fromer Hebrew School, her dedication to education, culture and community was unparalleled. We recall with love and sadness honoring her and her husband Evan at the Park East Synagogue Dinner in 2019, with the Youth Enrichment Center Parent Award.
Our prayers are with her husband Evan, her children Emerson and Jonathan, her parents Lawrence and Ellyn Mittman, and her brother Jordan. May her memory be a blessing, her legacy an inspiration to family and friends.
The memorial Kaddish will be dedicated this Shabbat on the eve of Tisha B’Av in her loving memory.
Rabbi Arthur Schneier
