The Carnegie Hall Summer Music Education Workshop will be putting on a pop-up concert in Zuccotti Park (in downtown Manhattan, former site of Occupy Wall Street) this Saturday (July 15) at 2 PM. It’ll be about an hour long, with ensembles of music teachers from all over the world— a latin jazz band, a pops orchestra, and a chorus conducted by me! The chorus set features music exclusively by Black American Women composers!
Benches are limited, so bring a blanket.
