Do you like to cook? Have a yummy recipe you can share? We need your help…

The Parent Association is hosting the Annual Staff Appreciation Breakfast on December 16th. This special event is organized by the Kindergarten At Large team. We are counting on donations to serve our staff of about 100 people. Every year teachers and staff look forward to those prized specialty recipes that have been a family tradition for generations or perhaps it's something amazing you’ve whipped up yourself...so bring on those delicious casseroles!

If cooking isn’t your thing, there are definitely many things needed that don't require effort in the kitchen!

DONATE: Please sign up
to provide a food or drink item.

VOLUNTEER: We also need volunteers to help set up, run the breakfast and wrap up/clean up after.

Any questions, please reach out to [email protected].
Thank you for your continued support!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoyed quality time with their families. As we head further into the holiday season, we want to show gratitude and thank everyone for their time and efforts all school year. We had a successful Halloween Hop, Book Fair and raised money for PS9! It’s wonderful to see so many parents coming together to build a great community for our kids and our families.
Thank you! 🙏🍁🍂

Take a peek inside our Spanish Language Program with Señora Whittaker!

“During these past couple of weeks in Spanish class we have been cashing in our “Rifa” tickets in exchange for prizes! “La Tienda” has officially opened up! It opens up every 2 1/2 months. Students receive tickets for their participation during Spanish class and at the end of each class we have a raffle. Even if the students don’t win in the raffle they are still winning because they get to use their tickets to buy prizes and use their Spanish in the meantime! Vocabulary review for going shopping, as well as their numbers are available in their Google Classroom under the Spanish topic. ¡Hasta pronto”

Thank you 🙏 Señora Whittaker for taking our Spanish program to the next level!
