«تَعَالَوْا إِلَيَّ يَا جَمِيعَ الْمُتْعَبِينَ وَالثَّقِيلِي الأَحْمَالِ، وَأَنَا أُرِيحُكُمْ» (متى 11: 28)
بصّ في عينيه دلوقتي… كأن المسيح بيقولك: تعالى زي ما إنت، من غير ما تخبي وجعك ولا تمثّل إنك قوي.
أنا شايف خوفك، وتعبك، واللي محدش عارفه عنك، ومش مستنيك تصلّح كل حاجة قبل ما تيجي لي.
تعالى بحملك كله… وأنا مش هشرحلك بس، أنا هشيل معاك.
يمكن الظروف لسه زي ما هي، لكن لما المسيح يدخل قلبك، الحمل مايبقاش أقوى منك.
إوعى تفتكر إن تأخري عنك معناه إني سيبتك؛ أنا أحيانًا بسكت، لكن عمري ما بغيب.
تعالى لي… وسيب في إيدي اللي إنت مش قادر تشيله.

كل عام وأنتم بخير بمناسبة 🌿عيد النيروز🌿 سنة قبطية جديدة ليكم فماذا تريد أن تترك خلفك؟
🌿 عائلتنا الجميلة أولاد المسيح على قناة جوسبل...
في سنة قبطية جديدة الموافق 1 توت 1743 والمشتقة من كلمة «ني يارؤو» وتعني الأنهار، تزامناً مع فيضان النيل
ليس المهم أن تتغير أرقام السنين, بل أن يتجدد الإنسان من الداخل.
في بداية سنة قبطية جديدة,
ربما يحمل قلبك أشياء كثيرة من السنة الماضية...
تعبًا, انتظارًا, صلاة لم تجد إجابة بعد, أشخاصًا أوجعوك, وأبوابًا لم تُفتح.
لكن لا تدخل سنة جديدة وأنت تحمل معك كل ما أثقل قلبك في السنة الماضية.
هناك أشياء لا تحتاج أن تحملها إلى سنة جديدة... بل تحتاج أن تضعها في يد الله. 🙏 قناة جوسبل Gospel channel
إن كان في قلبك خوف, فتذكّر
«لاَ تَخَفْ لأَنِّي مَعَكَ, لاَ تَتَلَفَّتْ لأَنِّي إِلهُكَ. قَدْ أَيَّدْتُكَ وَأَعَنْتُكَ وَعَضَدْتُكَ بِيَمِينِ بِرِّي.»
(إشعياء 41: 10)
وإن كان الماضي ما زال يوجعك, فلا تسمح له أن يكتب بقية قصتك:
«لاَ تَذْكُرُوا الأَوَّلِيَّاتِ, وَالْقَدِيمَاتِ لاَ تَتَأَمَّلُوا. هَأَنَذَا صَانِعٌ أَمْرًا جَدِيدًا.»
(إشعياء 43: 18–19)
وإن كنت تشعر أنك لم تعد كما كنت, فتذكّر أن عمل الله في الإنسان لا يتوقف عند ما حدث بالأمس:
«إِنْ كَانَ أَحَدٌ فِي الْمَسِيحِ فَهُوَ خَلِيقَةٌ جَدِيدَةٌ. الأَشْيَاءُ الْعَتِيقَةُ قَدْ مَضَتْ. هُوَذَا الْكُلُّ قَدْ صَارَ جَدِيدًا.»
(2 كورنثوس 5: 17) ✝️
لذلك, مع بداية سنة قبطية جديدة...
اترك في يد المسيح ما عجزت عن تغييره.
سامح ما تستطيع أن تسامحه.
تُب عمّا يحتاج إلى توبة.
اترك الخوف, ولا تترك المسيح.
اترك اليأس, ولا تترك الصلاة.
اترك الماضي, لكن لا تترك الدرس الذي علّمك إياه.
🌿 إخوتي وآبائي على قناة جوسبل ,لا نعرف ماذا تخبئ لنا السنة الجديدة, لكننا نعرف مَن يمسك بأيامنا.
«أَيُّهَا الرَّبُّ, إِلَى الأَبَدِ كَلِمَتُكَ مُثَبَّتَةٌ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ.»
(مزمور 119: 89)
كل سنة قبطية وأنتم في حماية الرب, ونعمته, وسلامه.

Wishing you all a blessed 🌿Nayrouz Feast🌿 and a blessed Coptic New Year! So, what do you want to leave behind?

🌿 To our beautiful family, the children of Christ, on Gospel Channel...

In the new Coptic year, corresponding to Thout 1, 1743, the name “Nayrouz” is derived from the words “Ni Yaroou,” meaning “the rivers,” in connection with the annual flooding of the Nile.

What matters is not that the numbers of the years change, but that the person is renewed from within.

At the beginning of a new Coptic year,
perhaps your heart is carrying many things from the past year...

Weariness, waiting, a prayer that has not yet received an answer, people who have hurt you, and doors that have not opened.

But do not enter a new year carrying with you everything that weighed down your heart in the past year.

There are things you do not need to carry into a new year... you need to place them in God's hands instead. 🙏

If there is fear in your heart, remember:

“Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
(Isaiah 41:10)

And if the past still hurts you, do not allow it to write the rest of your story:

“Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing.”
(Isaiah 43:18–19)

And if you feel that you are no longer the person you used to be, remember that God's work in a person does not stop because of what happened yesterday:

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

Therefore, as a new Coptic year begins...

Leave in Christ's hands what you were unable to change.
Forgive what you are able to forgive.
Repent of what needs repentance.
Leave fear behind, but do not leave Christ.
Leave despair behind, but do not leave prayer.
Leave the past behind, but do not leave behind the lesson it taught you.

🌿 My brothers and fathers on Gospel Channel, we do not know what the new year holds for us, but we know Who holds our days.

“O LORD, Your word is forever settled in heaven.”
(Psalm 119:89)

Happy Feast to all our beloved brothers and fathers on the Gospel Channel!

Today we celebrate the glorious Feast of the Assumption of our Lady, the Theotokos, the Bride of the Holy Spirit. She became the intercessor and refuge for all who put their trust in her. As the angel declared: "Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you" (Luke 1:28). ✨🕊️

On this great and blessed feast, we lift our hearts and prayers together, seeking the powerful intercession of the Virgin Mary, asking for:

✅ Blessings upon our homes and children
✅ Protection from all evil and distress
✅ Healing of body, mind, and soul
✅ Peace of mind and tranquility of heart
✅ True joy that fills the soul

🌿 ✠ عيد صعود جسد السيدة العذراء مريم (أم النور)
«طُوبَى لِلَّتِي آمَنَتْ»
أحبائي وآبائي وإخوتي عائلة قناة جوسبل الروحية . 🌿 🌹🙏كل عام وأنتم بخير بمناسبة عيد أمنا القديسة مريم العذراء, والدة الإله, التي نكرمها لأنها حملت في أحشائها ربنا ومخلصنا يسوع المسيح, بحسب تدبير التجسد الإلهي.

فالكتاب المقدس نفسه يعلن على لسان أليصابات:
«فَمِنْ أَيْنَ لِي هذَا أَنْ تَأْتِيَ أُمُّ رَبِّي إِلَيَّ؟» (لوقا 1: 43)

وتقول العذراء في تسبحتها:
«هُوَذَا مُنْذُ الآنَ جَمِيعُ الأَجْيَالِ تُطَوِّبُنِي. لأَنَّ الْقَدِيرَ صَنَعَ بِي عَظَائِمَ, وَاسْمُهُ قُدُّوسٌ.» (لوقا 1: 48–49)

وهنا نتعلم كيف تكرّم الكنيسة العذراء: نحن لا ننسب إليها المجد الإلهي الخاص بالله, بل نعترف بعظمة ما صنعه القدير فيها.

✠ ماذا نتعلم من العذراء في عيدها؟🌹❤️
العذراء لم يكن مجدها في المظهر, بل في قلبٍ آمن بكلمة الله وأطاعها. عندما بشّرها الملاك, قالت:
«هُوَذَا أَنَا أَمَةُ الرَّبِّ. لِيَكُنْ لِي كَقَوْلِكَ.» (لوقا 1: 38) ‪

هذه الكلمة تصلح أن تكون صلاة حياتنا كلها:
يا رب, عندما لا أفهم... ليكن لي كقولك.
عندما أخاف... ليكن لي كقولك.
عندما تتأخر استجابتك... ليكن لي كقولك.
وعندما أريد طريقي أنا, علّمني أن أقبل مشيئتك.

والإنجيل يصف قلب العذراء قائلًا:
«وَأَمَّا مَرْيَمُ فَكَانَتْ تَحْفَظُ جَمِيعَ هذَا الْكَلاَمِ مُتَفَكِّرَةً بِهِ فِي قَلْبِهَا.» (لوقا 2: 19)

ما أجمل هذه الحياة! تحفظ كلمة الله... تتأمل فيها... وتعيش بها. وهذا هو السؤال الذي يضعه العيد أمام كل واحد منا: هل توجد كلمة من الله محفوظة في قلبي؟ وسط عالم يمتلئ بالأصوات والقلق والضجيج, هل ما زال قلبك يعرف كيف يصمت ليسمع الله؟

يقول الرب:
«طُوبَى لِلَّذِينَ يَسْمَعُونَ كَلِمَةَ اللهِ وَيَحْفَظُونَهَا.» (لوقا 11: 28)

🕊️ عيد العذراء... دعوة إلى المسيح🌿🌹❤️
تكريمنا للعذراء لا يقف عند شخصها, بل يقودنا دوماً إلى ابنها. فهي نفسها قالت للخدام في عرس قانا الجليل:
«مَهْمَا قَالَ لَكُمْ فَافْعَلُوهُ.» (يوحنا 2: 5)

وكأن صوتها ما زال يقود كل قلب إلى المسيح: افعلوا ما يقوله لكم.

لذلك في عيدها, لا نكتفي بالتهنئة, بل نأخذ من سيرتها درسًا: أن نؤمن, أن نتضع, أن نحفظ كلمة الله, أن نقبل مشيئته, وأن نجعل المسيح هو مركز حياتنا.

فليكن هذا العيد بداية استعلانات جديدة لعمل الله في قلبك؛ لا لأن الله يتغير, بل لأن قلبك يتفتح أكثر لنوره ونعمته.

كل سنة وأنتم طيبون, ومملوؤون من نعمة ربنا يسوع المسيح وسلامه. وبصلوات وشفاعات والدة الإله القديسة مريم وجميع القديسين, يحفظ الرب الكنيسة وشعبها, ويقودنا جميعًا إلى حياة التوبة والإيمان والمحبة.

«اُثْبُتُوا فِيَّ وَأَنَا فِيكُمْ.» (يوحنا 15: 4)
كل عام وأنتم بخير وبركة بمناسبة عيد أم النور, ولإلهنا المجد إلى الأبد. آمين.

🌿 ✠ The Feast of the Assumption of the Body of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Mother of Light) ✠
"Blessed is she who believed"

Happy and blessed Feast to you all, on this glorious day of our Mother, St. Mary the Virgin, Theotokos—she whom we honor because she carried in her womb our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, according to the divine economy of the Incarnation.

Holy Scripture itself declares through the lips of Elizabeth:
"But why is this granted to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?" (Luke 1:43)

And the Virgin proclaims in her song of praise:
"Behold, from now on all generations will call me blessed. For He who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is His name." (Luke 1:48–49)

Here we learn how the Church honors the Virgin: we do not ascribe to her the divine glory that belongs to God alone, but rather we acknowledge the greatness of what the Almighty has accomplished in her.

✠ What Do We Learn from the Virgin on Her Feast?🙏🌿🌹❤️

The Virgin's glory was not in outward appearance, but in a heart that believed God's word and obeyed it. When the angel announced to her, she responded:
"Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word." (Luke 1:38) ‪‬

These words are worthy to become the prayer of our entire lives:
O Lord, when I do not understand... let it be to me according to Your word.
When I am afraid... let it be to me according to Your word.
When Your answer seems delayed... let it be to me according to Your word.
And when I desire my own way, teach me to embrace Your will.

The Gospel describes the heart of the Virgin, saying:
"But Mary kept all these things and pondered them in her heart." (Luke 2:19)

How beautiful is this life! She treasures God's word... meditates upon it... and lives by it. This is the question the Feast places before each one of us: Is there a word from God treasured in my heart? Amidst a world overflowing with noise, anxiety, and clamor—does your heart still know how to fall silent in order to hear God?

The Lord declares:
"Blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!" (Luke 11:28)

🕊️ The Feast of the Virgin... An Invitation to Christ

Our veneration of the Virgin does not stop at her person; it always leads us to her Son. She herself said to the servants at the wedding of Cana of Galilee:
"Whatever He says to you, do it." (John 2:5)

It is as though her voice continues to guide every heart to Christ: Do whatever He tells you.

Therefore, on her Feast, we do not merely exchange greetings—we take from her life a lesson: to believe, to humble ourselves, to treasure God's word, to embrace His will, and to make Christ the center of our lives.

May this Feast be the beginning of new revelations of God's work in your heart—not because God changes, but because your heart opens more fully to His light and grace.

Happy and blessed Feast to you all, filled with the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and His peace. Through the prayers and intercessions of the Theotokos, St. Mary, and all the saints, may the Lord preserve His Church and His people, and lead us all into a life of repentance, faith, and love.

"Abide in Me, and I in you." (John 15:4)

✠ عيد التجلي المجيد | عندما ينكشف السيد المسيح أمام عينيك ✠
في عيد التجلي يا آبائي وإخوتي على قناة جوسبل، لا تقف الكنيسة أمام حدث عابر على جبل طابور، بل تقودنا لنرفع أعيننا ونرى مَن هو السيد المسيح.
يقول لنا الإنجيل:
«وَتَغَيَّرَتْ هَيْئَتُهُ قُدَّامَهُمْ، وَأَضَاءَ وَجْهُهُ كَالشَّمْسِ، وَصَارَتْ ثِيَابُهُ بَيْضَاءَ كَالنُّورِ.» (متى 17: 2)
التلاميذ لم يصنعوا مجد السيد المسيح، بل انكشف لهم مجده الأزلي! وهنا تكمن الرسالة لنا: أحيانًا نعيش وسط الضيق ونظن أن الله بعيد لأننا لا نرى مجده في ظروفنا. لكن المشكلة ليست أن السيد المسيح غائب، بل إن عيوننا تحتاج أن تُفتح لنراه.

وفي وسط هذا المشهد الإلهي، ظهر موسى وإيليا كشاهدَين من الناموس والأنبياء، ثم ظللتهم السحابة المنيرة
(رمز حضور الروح القدس)، وسمع التلاميذ صوت الآب:
«هذَا هُوَ ابْنِي الْحَبِيبُ الَّذِي بِهِ سُرِرْتُ. لَهُ اسْمَعُوا.» (متى 17: 5)

لاحظ الأمر الإلهي: «لَهُ اسْمَعُوا»...
ليس للضجيج، ولا للخوف، ولا للأصوات المقلقة التي تملأ العقل. كم صوتًا نسمع كل يوم؟ صوت القلق، الأخبار، كلام الناس، وخوف الغد. لكن الكنيسة ترفع أمامنا السيد المسيح وتقول: اسمعوه! إذا كنت محتارًا، خائفًا، أو متعبًا... اسمع صوت المسيح.

ثم يحدث الشيء العظيم؛ يسقط التلاميذ من الخوف، لكن يسوع المسيح يقترب، يلمسهم، ويقول:
«قُومُوا وَلاَ تَخَافُوا.» (متى 17: 7)

صورة مفرحة جدًا ! السيد المسيح الذي أظهر مجده الإلهي هو نفسه الذي يلمس الإنسان الخائف ويرفعه. ثم يختم الإنجيل المشهد:
«فَرَفَعُوا أَعْيُنَهُمْ وَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَحَدًا إِلاَّ يَسُوعَ وَحْدَهُ.» (متى 17: 8)

وهنا تصل بنا الكنيسة إلى قلب العيد: يسوع وحده. بعد كل الأصوات والخوف والحيرة... لا يبقى سوى يسوع.

لتكن صلاتنا اليوم: يا رب، افتح عينيَّ لأراك، علّمني أن أسمع صوتك وسط ضجيج العالم، وعندما أخاف المسني بيدك وقل لي: قم ولا تخف، واجعل عيني لا ترى إلا يسوع وحده.

هذا هو فرح التجلي: أن نكتشف أن السيد المسيح ليس مجرد مَن يعطينا النور، بل هو نور حياتنا.
«له المجد دائمًا إلى الأبد. آمين.»

On the Feast of the Transfiguration, my fathers and brethren on Gospel Channel, the Church does not stand before a passing event on Mount Tabor, but rather leads us to lift our eyes and see who the Lord Jesus truly is.

The Gospel proclaims to us:
"And He was transfigured before them, and His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became white as light." (Matthew 17:2)

The disciples did not create the glory of the Lord Jesus—His eternal glory was unveiled before them! And herein lies the message for us: sometimes we live amidst hardship and think God is distant because we cannot see His glory in our circumstances. Yet the problem is not that the Lord Jesus is absent, but that our eyes need to be opened to behold Him.

In the midst of this divine scene, Moses and Elijah appeared as witnesses from the Law and the Prophets. Then the radiant cloud overshadowed them—a symbol of the presence of the Holy Spirit—and the disciples heard the voice of the Father:
"This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!" (Matthew 17:5)

Pay close attention to the divine command: "Hear Him!"
Not the noise, not fear, not the troubling voices that fill the mind. How many voices do we hear each day? The voice of anxiety, news headlines, the words of people, and the fear of tomorrow. Yet the Church lifts up the Lord Jesus before us and says: Hear Him! If you are confused, afraid, or weary... hear the voice of Christ.

Then something magnificent occurs. The disciples fall to the ground in fear, but Jesus draws near, touches them, and says:
"Arise, and do not be afraid." (Matthew 17:7)

What a deeply joyful image! The Lord Jesus who revealed His divine glory is the very same One who reaches out to the fearful soul and lifts it up. Then the Gospel concludes the scene:
"When they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only." (Matthew 17:8)

And here the Church brings us to the heart of the feast: Jesus alone. After all the voices, fear, and confusion... nothing remains but Jesus.

Let our prayer be: O Lord, open my eyes to see You, teach me to hear Your voice amidst the noise of the world, and when I am afraid, reach out Your hand to me and say: Arise and do not fear. May my eyes see no one but Jesus only.

This is the joy of the Transfiguration: to discover that the Lord Jesus is not merely the One who gives us light—He is the Light of our lives.

كيف نعيش الصوم بروح الكنيسة لا كعادة ؟
سلام نعمة المسيح إخوتي وآبائي على قناة جوسبل.
الصوم ليس أن تتغير أطعمتنا فقط, بينما يبقى القلب كما هو.
الصوم الحقيقي هو أن نقترب من الله, وأن نسمح له أن يغيّر ما في داخلنا.
يقول الرب:
«وَلَكِنِ الآنَ يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ: ارْجِعُوا إِلَيَّ بِكُلِّ قُلُوبِكُمْ, وَبِالصَّوْمِ وَالْبُكَاءِ وَالنَّوْحِ.»
(يوئيل 2: 12)
إذن الصوم يبدأ من القلب.
الصوم ليس عادة... بل رجوع
قد نصوم سنوات, ونكرر نفس الممارسات, لكن السؤال الأهم:
هل أنا أقترب من المسيح؟
فالرب لا يريد مجرد تغيير المائدة, بل يريد القلب.
«قَدِّمُوا أَجْسَادَكُمْ ذَبِيحَةً حَيَّةً مُقَدَّسَةً مَرْضِيَّةً عِنْدَ اللهِ, عِبَادَتَكُمُ الْعَقْلِيَّةَ.»
(رومية 12: 1)
في صوم العذراء, لا نكتفي بأن نتذكر فضائلها, بل نتعلم منها أن نقول لله كما قالت:
«هُوَذَا أَنَا أَمَةُ الرَّبِّ. لِيَكُنْ لِي كَقَوْلِكَ.»

هذه هي روح الصوم:
يا رب, ليس فقط أن أطلب منك أن تغيّر ظروفي, بل غيّر قلبي أنا.
كيف نعيش الصوم؟
نصلِّي أكثر, ولو قليلًا, لكن بصدق.
اقرأ الإنجيل, ولو إصحاحًا واحدًا, واترك كلمة منه تسكن في قلبك.
اترك خطية تعرف أنها تفصلك عن الله.
سامح من أساء إليك.
واقترب من الكنيسة وأسرارها بإرشاد أب اعترافك.
لأن الرب يقول:
«اثْبُتُوا فِيَّ وَأَنَا فِيكُمْ.»
(يوحنا 15: 4)
لا تجعل الصوم موسمًا يمر ثم تعود كما كنت.
اجعله فرصة لكي يزداد ثباتك في المسيح.
وفي وسط ضجيج العالم وكثرة الأصوات والمحتوى, تعلّم أن تصمت قليلًا أمام الله.
فالإنسان لا يحيا بما يملأ عينيه وأذنيه, بل بما يسكن قلبه.
«لَيْسَ بِالْخُبْزِ وَحْدَهُ يَحْيَا الإِنْسَانُ, بَلْ بِكُلِّ كَلِمَةٍ تَخْرُجُ مِنْ فَمِ اللهِ.»
(متى 4: 4)
وفي هذا الصوم, اسأل نفسك: ماذا يريد المسيح أن يغيّر فيَّ؟
لا تخرج من الصوم وقد تغيّر طعامك فقط...
بل اخرج بقلب أكثر صلاة, وأكثر توبة, وأكثر محبة, وأكثر ثباتًا في المسيح.
وبشفاعة القديسة مريم والدة الإله, اطلب من الرب أن يمنحك قلبًا متضعًا, يسمع كلمته ويحفظها, ويقول كل يوم:
«لِيَكُنْ لِي كَقَوْلِكَ.»
لأن أجمل صوم...
هو أن يخرج منه إنسان أقرب إلى المسيح.

How to Live Fasting in the Spirit of the Church — Not as a Mere Habit

Peace and grace of Christ to you, my brothers and fathers, on the Gospel Channel.

Fasting is not simply about changing what we eat while our hearts remain untouched. True fasting is about drawing closer to God and allowing Him to transform us from within.

The Lord declares:

"Yet even now," declares the Lord, "return to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning."
(Joel 2:12)

So fasting begins in the heart. It is not a ritual—it is a return.

We may fast for years and repeat the same practices, but the real question remains:
Am I drawing nearer to Christ?

The Lord does not seek merely a different menu—He seeks the heart.

"I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship."
(Romans 12:1)

During the Fast of the Virgin, we do not just recall her virtues—we learn from her to say to God, as she did:

"Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word."
(Luke 1:38)

This is the spirit of fasting:
Lord, I ask not only that You change my circumstances—but that You change my heart.

How then do we truly live the fast?

Pray more—even if only a little—but pray with sincerity.
Read the Gospel—even just one chapter—and let one word from it settle in your heart.
Let go of a sin you know is separating you from God.
Forgive those who have wronged you.
Draw near to the Church and her sacraments, guided by your confessor.

For the Lord says:

"Abide in Me, and I in you."
(John 15:4)

Do not let this fast become just another season that passes while you remain unchanged. Let it be an opportunity for your roots to grow deeper in Christ.

Amid the noise of the world, the endless voices, and the flood of content, learn to be still before God. For man does not live by what fills his eyes and ears alone—but by what dwells in his heart.

"Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God."
(Matthew 4:4)

In this fast, ask yourself: What does Christ want to change in me?

Do not come out of this fast with only your diet altered. Step out with a heart more prayerful, more repentant, more loving, and more rooted in Christ.

Through the intercession of Saint Mary, the Mother of God, ask the Lord to grant you a humble heart—one that hears His word, preserves it, and says each day:

"Let it be to me according to Your word."

For the most beautiful fast
is one that leaves you closer to Christ.
