Winter is here, and all that is left over here in New York is for some snow to fall. With the longer nights and the heaters going, it can sometimes be a little more difficult to get out of the house. Layering up is the new norm, at least for those of us that aren't enjoying the warmth further south.
I have personally used this time to get closer to family and friends and practice a routine that allows me an equitable work/life balance. Reaching out and staying connected have been vital since the world shut down in 2020, and with the winter months ever present, the tools we have adapted to in order to live full lives through our computers have become even more important.
The innovation surrounding remote work has allowed me to offer a 100 percent online experience to my clients. Now, we can have all of the convenience with few of the pesky problems online coaching used to have. Whether it's the pandemic or the cold keeping you inside, now you can get all the benefits of a life coach from the comfort of your own home.

As we get further into fall, I'm taking the time to appreciate and enjoy these few weeks of cooler weather without the biting chill of winter.
Taking a moment to be mindful about the positive moments in a day can make a huge difference in how you view that day. Imagine what doing this every day can do over the next year? Or better yet, the rest of your life!
Make a list of 5 things you enjoy about today. I'll start:
1. Beautiful views
2. Not too warm, not too cold (the perfect goldilocks weather)
3. Walks in the park
4. Time with family and friends
5. The yummy Vietnamese food I ate right after taking this picture

Adaptibiliity, or flexibility, in behavior is the key to coming out exactly where you want to be.
Whenever somebody is unwilling to adapt or change, whether it be in an interaction or within themselves, they create a situation where they can lose.
In order to create situations where you can win (or better yet, create a win/win situation for all parties involved), you must find ways in which to win.

Sometimes, when going through hard times, it's easy to fall into a negative state of mind. That's okay! Emotions are a natural signal from your unconscious mind that something is wrong; and listening to what your mind is telling you is important.

Your time line, in the context of Time Line Therapy®, is simply whatever your mind considers to be a representation of your past, present and future. This representation is usually (but not always) visual, with elements of auditory (sounds) and kinesthetic (feelings). However you imagine your time line is correct.
Using the time line you've imagined, we can use Time Line Therapy® techniques to overcome negative emotions and limiting decisions. This process is quick and simple.
