CCSD Mariachi Honor & All-City

CCSD students stole the show at the Mariachi Extravaganza last weekend! Congratulations to Clairet Melendez of Del Sol Academy of the Performing Arts for taking first place 🏆 in the National Vocal Competition high school category. Also, we'd like to congratulate Mariachi los Gavilanes for placing second in the National Group Competition middle school category and Mariachi Joya for tying for third place in the high school category. Mariachi los Gavilanes also earned the Best Trumpets Section in the sectionals. We are very proud of your hard work!

Admission is $3 at the door, and children under 5 years of age are free.

The City of North Las Vegas Mariachi Competition is back on Saturday, April 26!🎺🎶 Join us from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at The AMP at Craig Ranch Regional Park for a day filled with music, food, and competition. Event is free to attend and open to all ages.

This will be a trip of a lifetime for our students and our Mariachi program!!
