Tabetha’s Family Based Care still has space available for weekday morning care this October. 💛🧡🤎

🕘 Weekday mornings | 9:00 AM–1:00 PM

These flexible care spots are a great fit for families with newborns, babies, toddlers, or little ones under 3 who need dependable care while you:

🛒 Run errands or shop
💆🏽‍♀️ Take time for yourself
🩷 Attend an appointment
☕️ Take a break and recharge
🏡 Get things done without bringing your little one along

There’s no one-week minimum for morning care. Whenever possible, please reach out by the day before care is needed so I can confirm availability and plan accordingly.

👀 After-school care may also be available soon!

I’m finalizing my October schedule and will share more details as additional openings become available.

🌸 Tabetha’s Family Based Care — Weekday Morning Availability is BACK! 🌸

September is here, the kids are back in school, and I know my usual families may not need as much childcare right now — BUT I also know there are plenty of families with little ones who still need a helping hand. ❤️

So, I’m officially opening my weekday morning availability from 9:00 AM–1:00 PM! 🥰

This is especially for my families with:
👶 Newborns & babies
🧸 Toddlers & children under 3
🛒 A quick shopping trip you’d rather do without the baby
💆🏽‍♀️ A little self-care time
☕️ An appointment, errand, or some much-needed alone time
😮‍💨 Or honestly… just a few quiet hours to breathe!

No one-week minimum notice is required for weekday mornings. I just ask for at least 12 hours’ advance notice whenever possible so I can make sure I’m available and prepared for your little one.

If you’ve been meaning to reach out but weren’t sure if I was still taking families — I AM! 😂❤️

I’d love to get back into the swing of things and see some familiar faces, while also welcoming some new families into Tabetha’s Family Based Care.

A Little Heart-to-Heart 💜

I just want to take a moment to apologize to the families who have reached out to me recently looking for childcare, especially those who have been with me for years.

When I first started my business, I had several families who booked with me here and there. Because the requests were occasional, I was able to accommodate a lot more families and be available when they needed me.

Over time, as families’ schedules and childcare needs naturally changed (which I completely understand!), I found myself with fewer bookings. Since I still needed to maintain an income, I committed to working with one family on a much more consistent basis. I’m incredibly grateful for that opportunity, but the reality is that it has taken up most of my availability.

And lately, I’ve realized how much that has affected my ability to be there for the families who have supported my business for years. Some of you only need me occasionally, but when you do, I know you’re reaching out because you trust me—and I truly hate having to tell you that I’m unavailable. 🥺

So, to the families I’ve had to turn away recently: I’m genuinely sorry. Please know it’s never because I don’t want to care for your children or because I don’t value your business. My availability has simply become extremely limited.

I’m also taking some time to really think about how I want to structure my childcare schedule moving forward so that I can continue supporting the families who have been part of Tabetha’s Family Based Care for the long haul. 💜

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support. I appreciate every family who has trusted me with their little ones, whether you’ve booked with me once or have been with me for years. 🫶🏽

And yes… I’m learning that there’s a difference between having a full schedule and having a schedule that leaves no room for the families who helped build your business. 😭💜

Hi families 🤍

I wanted to pop in with a quick update on my current availability as I continue to prioritize balance, intentional scheduling, and the families I’ve already committed to.

At this time, I am not accepting new Saturday or Sunday bookings.

I am still accepting inquiries for:
✨ Weekday care
✨ Weeknight care
✨ Friday date nights

As always, a minimum of one week’s notice is required for all bookings whenever possible. Availability remains limited and is scheduled around existing commitments.

✨ Tabetha’s Family Based Care — Update ✨

Hi families 🤍 I wanted to share a more personal update as I continue moving through this next season of my business and life.

I’ve been posting less lately, and that will continue moving forward. Over the next 6 months, my availability will be very limited as I focus on the families I’m currently committed to and the responsibilities I’ve already taken on.

This work has grown far beyond what I originally imagined back in 2022. I’ve had the privilege of building real relationships, gaining experience, and growing alongside families in a way that has been deeply meaningful. I currently support a small group of consistent families I’ve worked with over the past couple of years, including families I’ve been with since 2022. Over time, I’ve watched households grow, routines change, and little ones develop in ways I feel honored to have witnessed.

At the same time, I’ve also found myself appreciating more time at home with my own children and being intentional about what I take on moving forward. I’m currently in a season of reflection — figuring out what I want the next chapter of this work to look like while still showing up fully for the families I’ve built trust with.

I’m still available for questions about scheduling and existing commitments, and I will always do my best to communicate clearly about availability.

To every family who has trusted me since 2022 until now — thank you. The relationships, consistency, and growth mean more than I can put into words. 🤍

This isn’t an ending — just a new chapter of balance, intention, and continued care.

Hi families! Just popping in with a quick March check-in.

My babysitting schedule has been pretty full lately, so I don’t have any new availability to post at the moment. However, I’m always happy to connect with families who may need in-home care for future dates or special occasions when possible.

Thank you to the families who continue to trust me with their little ones — I truly appreciate it.

I wanted to share a quick update regarding Tabetha’s Family-Based Care. 💜

I know I’ve been posting less, and that’s because I’ve been focused on fulfilling the early requests that were made and supporting the consistent families I work with. I’m incredibly grateful that my babysitting service has grown into something more stable and rooted in long-term trust.

I want to apologize to the families who have reached out for dates I couldn’t accommodate. I truly appreciate every request, even when I’m unable to say yes. I also want to apologize to the few families this winter who experienced cancellations or schedule changes — it is always my responsibility to fulfill my commitments, but as a mother of five, sometimes things beyond my control arise. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Coming into 2026, I’ve been more intentional about balancing my availability between the families I serve and my own family. Because of this, I’ve been holding more dates for my family while continuing to support my current bookings.

Moving forward:
• Spring Break — unavailable
• Fourth of July — unavailable
• Summer — limited availability

I’ll also be posting less frequently on Facebook, with most availability updates shared through Instagram and email.

Effective January 1, 2026

🤒 Sick Policy

To keep all the kids (and me!) healthy, I’m unable to provide care when a child is sick.

If your child has any of the following, please let me know and reschedule care:
• Fever of 100.4°F (38°C) or higher, or if fever-reducing medicine was used in the past 24 hours
• Vomiting or diarrhea within the past 24 hours
• Persistent cough, wheezing, or heavy congestion
• Thick green or yellow nasal discharge
• Eye redness or discharge (pink eye symptoms)
• Rashes of unknown origin
• Contagious illnesses (like flu, RSV, COVID-19, hand-foot-mouth, strep throat, lice, etc.)

Children must be symptom-free for at least 24 hours without medication before returning.

If a child becomes sick while in my care, I’ll reach out for prompt pickup, since I can’t continue care once symptoms appear.

Thank you for understanding — these guidelines help me keep every child safe, happy, and healthy!

🌦️ Extreme Weather Policy (All Seasons)

The safety of the children in my care — and my ability to travel safely — is always my top priority.

Care may be canceled, delayed, or rescheduled due to extreme or unsafe weather. Examples include:

Winter:
• Extreme cold or dangerous wind chills
• Snowstorms, ice, freezing rain
• Unsafe road conditions

Spring / Fall:
• Flooding
• Severe storms
• High winds or unsafe travel conditions

Summer:
• Extreme heat warnings
• Poor air quality
• Severe storms or weather-related travel risks

I’ll notify families as early as possible if care is affected. These decisions are made with safety first — not convenience. If conditions become unsafe unexpectedly, care may need to end early or not start.

📣 Tabetha’s Family-Based Care – Booking Update

Hi everyone! I wanted to share my current availability so it’s easier to plan ahead:

🗓 Weekend Dates: Feb 21 | Mar 8, 21, 28 | Spring Break Apr 6–12 | Apr 18, 26 | May 2
⏰ Weekday Mornings: 9am–1pm

I know not everyone plans months in advance—and that’s okay! Being a one-person operation, booking early is the best way to make sure I can care for everyone’s kiddos.

⚠️ Weekend spots won’t open again until April, so if you need weekends, now’s the time to reserve. I’m also available after 8pm for late-night date nights, work events, or anything that comes up!

I’m also updating my CPR certification and taking new courses in child development, behavior, and safety—so if you ever want to see my credentials, I’m happy to share.
