Happy Compost Awareness Week! 🪱

Our team had a busy week educating about the importance of composting on farms and in communities! We provided technical assistance at a farm in Westchester, lead demonstrations in Schoharie, and taught a class in Jefferson County.

It was a busy weekend for our team with events in both Tompkins and Oswego Counties!

We participated in the Ithaca Compost Fair organized by . Many people braved the rainy weather to come speak with us about compost and biochar!

We taught compost science to a group of master gardeners and toured the Bristol Hill landfill to learn how Oswego County is managing organics through composting!

We had such an incredible time listening, learning, and engaging with folks from across the organics management industry at the NYS Organics Summit!
