This weekend my vision became a reality and an experiment proved successful. Several friends, old and new, joined me on this mad venture. Many friends came to support. I felt loved and that my contribution to the world is relevant. The enthusiasm and commitment to this project from the folks at Klavierhaus was amazing and wonderful.
Thank you, everyone! ❤️

A couple of openings in the Fall schedule left for Piano lessons in person in Manhattan or on zoom from anywhere.
Lisa Bastien and I went to the Piano Pedagogy Summer Institute together this week and heard several really great speakers including Ingrid Jacobson Clarfield and Phyllis Alpert Lehrer who are amongst the most knowledgeable and experienced veterans in my field. I was in the presence of greatness and feel duly inspired. Get ready, students!
Listening to the music of Steve Reich at Sonic Sphere at The Shed I felt like a tiny speck in the universe. Not to say that I felt insignificant, on the contrary, I felt connected to the greatness of it all. From the tiniest micro organism to entire galaxies, we’re all dancing to the same rhythm because it all comes from the same energy source.
