SINGERS!!!! I know I’ve been away a while… but I’m back in the office after an INCREDIBLE two months playing Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar at and I’m looking for new clients! Ready to take your voice to the next level this year??? Let’s make it happen! 💪✝️🙏 Photos 📸:
Over the weekend, I had my first EVER equity-level audition. I rented a rehearsal studio at for two hours before an audition that flew by in about 15-20 minutes to ensure that I had enough time to prepare my mind and body before warming up my voice. This has become an absolutely ESSENTIAL part of my “warm up” (I use quotes because it honestly feels like so much more than that…) and I am certain that my voice would not have served me in its freest, most authentic way if I hadn’t taken the time to do so. I preach about “YOUR BODY IS YOUR INSTRUMENT” all the time and I might sound like a broken record, but it’s true!!! It’s fundamental and it’s NOT what they teach you in music school 😬😅🙃 I had to learn it on my own through a decade and a half of trial and error while pushing (I know, scary word.. lol) my voice to new heights and new limits. Nowadays, I help other singers learn how crucial mindfulness and connection to your body is. I practice what I preach and will guide you one step at a time through developing a routine that empowers your voice so that your voice can serve you best. Singing an easy song at the start of your set is NOT a warm up. I’ve done it, you’ve done it, we’ve all done it. But it does nothing but set us up for a far lower quality performance than having an actual, consistent, reliable vocal routine that addresses your entire vocal range, both pitch and volume wise, with mindful awareness and guidance. 👁️

The past six months have been so crazy and musical I wanted to take a minute to say THANK YOU. Since embarking on my private vocal practice, I’ve coached 25 singers and have over 250 followers on Instagram. 12 of my clients have either completed or are currently enrolled in my 3-Pillars Program and helping their voices grow has been such a beautiful experience! I’m getting to know new singers almost every day via Instagram, and I’m now developing a second program - The Tactical Singer - designed to give professional vocalists all the skills, tools, and cheat-codes they need to pull off the most difficult, demanding performances.

* I'm an artist with my own independent recording project
* I’ve been in several musical theatre productions
* I've coached singers of ALL styles, from R&B to Metal and everything in-between
* I’ve been a music director for bands of multiple genres
* I’ve studied several singing methods, from Speech Level to Classical
* I learned from some of the best intuitive vocal coaches and can identify physical, mental, and emotional blocks that limit your voice
* I combine conventional vocal training with holistic methods of connecting the mind + body to further empower your voice
If there’s anything I’ve learned from 7+ years of teaching experience, it’s that I take a unique, holistic approach to all things vocal coaching. That’s why I came up with the name “VocHolistic” for my coaching practice. I use exercises and tools you wouldn’t usually learn in music school or from private voice teachers to help singers of all ages strengthen and expand their range and stylistic capacities.
