Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2025 to all our parents and little ones! 🎄✨

Our next 8-Week Reading Readiness Program and First/Second Grade Programs kick off on January 13th!

We can’t wait to see you soon!

This week at Primary ELA Skills, our 6 and 7 year old class crafted posters to illustrate proper grammar rules needed when writing a simple sentence.

We compared building a house to building a simple sentence. 🏠📚The tools and techniques may be different, however, builders and writers need a plan to get the job done.🎯

Our students were so proud of their "houses" and their new found knowledge of writing a simple sentence.

Next week, we will create a craft that illuminates how to expand our simple sentences by adding adjectives.

More creative ELA lessons await our little ones and their parents as we come to the end of our 8 week program and begin our new one mid-January 2025. ✨

Our parents have expressed how pleased they are with our program and our methods of teaching English Language Arts. ☺️

Numerous hours of teacher planning go into our creative yet structured weekly lessons to ensure each child, with their individual learning style, is reached.

Research proves every child learns differently, so we work hard to recognize each child's learning ability early on in our sessions, ensuring we offer the teaching modalities necessary to reach each and every one of our students. ❤️

We are located inside SunBear Art Gallery on Front Beach Road in Panama City Beach.

During Monday’s 60 minute class, the children engaged in learning the phonemic awareness voice for letter ‘d’.We explored the ‘d’ sound while designing delightful duck crafts.
The children practiced voicing letter ‘d’ is for duck’ as they designed their duck posters, cutting, coloring, and gluing their quacking masterpieces. It was a hands-on, creative way to blend phonemic awareness with creating crafts , and the smiles and giggles said it all!

This activity is part of our phonemic awareness classes for 4-6 year olds, which set the foundation for reading comprehension. Through engaging lessons like this, children develop essential early literacy skills in a fun and supportive environment, building their confidence and love for reading and writing.

Our next 8 week program starts January 6th!

One huge benefit of private tutoring is increased self-esteem. Children that have low school grades can begin to think negatively about themselves, and increased performance in school can result in more positive thinking.

There’s a misconception that brighter children don’t need tutoring. This isn’t the case. Sometimes, even the most academically gifted students can falter in a subject or two.

Did you know that grade inflation is a huge problem in schools throughout the United States? With grade inflation, children with high grades may not necessarily be ready to begin college and may need extra tutoring to get them up to speed.

Sometimes, even the best classroom teachers can have trouble getting across important concepts in ways that all children can understand. In tutoring, we have fewer students so we can take more time to explain things.
