DIFFERENT STAGES. SAME WORK.

This upcoming stretch of the year feels like a full circle.

•Teaching in New York at Manhattan School of Music.
•Performing at Carnegie Hall.
•Working with singers at Taos Opera Institute.
•Heading to Italy for Trentino Music Festival.

Different places, different roles, but all connected.

Everything I do on stage shapes how I teach.
Everything I ask of my students comes from real experience.

And over time, I’ve come to see that what young singers need most isn’t just information, it’s clarity about how this field actually works and how to move through it.

There is a path.

Part of my work is helping singers begin to see it.

Day off from singing, teaching, and adjudicating? Cheap ticket to Ragtime? !

Auditions are not trials. They are conversations conducted in music.

When preparation is honest and self-understanding is clear, the room feels less like a judgment chamber and more like a meeting point.

That shift does not eliminate pressure.

It makes it usable.
