Somethings in life we can't control...
However, EFFORT is something we definitely can control.

Hard work always pays off in many ways, shapes and forms. Look yourself in the mirror and remind yourself that you got it!
I said that once I finished my last real estate project I've been working on, I'd transition my focus back to and here I AM keeping my word to myself. Your VISION has to be so strong that you can't see anything but the GOAL! Keep Pushing!

I lost access to this page for months and recently got it back! I can't get the time back but I can control the effort I put in now to rebuild. Is Cardio Necessary For Fat Loss?

The answer may surprise you...

Necessary? No.

Helpful? Yes.

Let me break that down.

I went for a lot of years without doing any form of cardio. I lifted weights and got lean AF. Because lifting weights changes the shape of your muscles, if you eat accordingly, you’ll lose fat. No cardio required.

The scale may not always change drastically but you look a million times better. We call it “recomping”.

On the flip side, cardio has other benefits in terms of health and it can definitely help in fat loss.

However, it isn’t the BEST WAY to lose weight. It’s actually kind of inefficient. It definitely burns calories while you do it but that’s about it.

Strength training on the other hand builds muscle which burns calories even when you’re not doing it.

However, there’s a lot of forms of “cardio”. Running, hill walking and HIIT sessions can all be cardio.

So, is cardio NECESSARY for fat loss? No. But it is a great way to give your body a boost. If you love it go for it but otherwise, use cardio as low-impact recovery work and if your goals are fat loss make sure your workout session and nutrition are on point.

3️⃣you aren’t being real with yourself.

I’m still on trip away from my routine and I’ve been having a hard time saying no, managing my overall workload by myself and I finally decided to work on getting help.(I’m hiring😅) Because of self reflection as well as journaling, I was able to really get to the root of where I’ve been struggling, why and what I can do about it. Self reflection has been one of my winning keys always 🔑

The more I reflect, the better I am able to help myself work through what I’m going through and devise a plan for help.📝

If you have been struggling for awhile trying to do things on your own, if you have a hard time with holding yourself accountable, you aren't seeing results, you don't have a plan, you feel alone, it's time to admit that you need help.

With help you will be able to get to the root of the problem, get more information, a plan, as well as tips and methods to help you reach the solution. 🗣Don't hesitate to ask for help when you know you need it.

Seeking the help you need will help you solve the problem instead of wasting more time plus it gives you support and the accountability you need to not feel alone. The more you deny that there is a problem, the longer you will go you without seeing results.💯

What’s good fam?! Happy Saturday‼️

I haven’t been feeling the greatest late but I had lots of rest yesterday and had a workout this morning. I’m feeling pretty good considering🙂

In moments like this I’m always overjoyed with gratitude. I think for me, one of the best things I’ve done was to start digging deeper to find out why I am the way I am and why I do things the way I do. It took and takes a lot of effort to do but getting to know myself on a deeper level has allowed me to thrive and be happy doing it as well as allowing me to be in a BETTER position to help others.

If you’re reading this take a moment to think of some of the things you’re grateful for and things that you love about yourself.✨

What if you started thinking of your goals not as huge things so far away that you can only achieve when the time is right but started thinking of them as small daily actions you do consistently; DAILY to achieve inevitable success?

I know it’s hard to get consistent and then to stay consistent for long periods of time especially when you don’t FEEL like it but when you really think about it, what’s the alternative?

Quit and stay the same or keep putting in the work and get results along the way.💯

If you want BETTER, you have to DO BETTER consistently and make it a habit. If you messed up yesterday, today’s a new day. Keep going! A BETTER version of YOU starts TODAY❣️
