Did you know there are 7 universal categories for style? Whether you’re a fashionista, a stylist or just a fashion enthusiast, you must know each one of them and what they’re all about in order to disrupt, reference and mix them up in your work or personal life.

An important reminder, though: these categories are not meant to limit you, but empower you as a fashion professional, to bring to life a vision, to speak with conviction to your clients or to better create an identity for yourself.

So, without further ado, let us start off this series where we’ll explain the 7 Universal Styles with the one and only: Natural Style.

Neutral tones, organic shapes, minimalistic accessories and natural fabrics like cotton, silk and linen are crucial here. With a keenness for comfort, the Natural Style can lean towards sportswear, but also something more boho-inspired. And here's your answer: a Pivot Alumni Ambassador is a former Pivot graduate who completed our previous cohort learning experience and will be helping the Pivot team in creating a thriving community experience both inside our community platform and outside on our social media channels.

Evan thrives in creative expression & being authentically true to himself. He has a love for thrifting & strongly believes in sustainable fashion in hopes of creating a better future. Evan has also specialized in working with people that want to step into their alter ego and bring forth the confidence they know they have but don’t necessarily know how to express through styling, which is where he comes in!

We are absolutely thrilled to have him as a Pivot Ambassador Evan! Welcome to the Pivot team!
