Food for thought...Some financial gurus maintain that you should always live below your means and save as much as possible.
Nothing is wrong with saving money on a regular basis. That being said, wouldn't it be better to figure out how to earn more rather than limit yourself all the time or deprive yourself of all the wonderful things life has to offer?

Keep in mind that life is not always about HAVING everything. It's about finding MEANING in everything you have.
Is there anything you have accomplished today you could be proud of? If not, go ahead and do something good. Doesn't have to be something mind-blowing or spectacular. It's the small things that matter...Besides, all the good deeds add up over time.
To those of you who feel discouraged: Everything that has happened TO you in the past, has happened FOR you. Let me assure you that in all of those moments, you were building your strength. Here is the deal: Strength times strength times strength equals power. In other words, what happened to you can also be your power.
Your past does not equal your future. Some people live in the past and have a hard time moving forward. What you should do is learn from your past and all your experiences, no matter how harrowing, discouraging or even devastating, and use all these experiences to build a better future.
So many people are fascinated with material things and money. It's okay though. However, I think what you get will never really make you happy in the long-term. Who you become, how you feel about yourself and what you contribute will. By the way, nothing feels better and more fulfilling than helping other people and making a difference.
Some people say that you have to be confident in yourself and your capabilities and your have to project confidence. I think confidence comes with success. Try to achieve small victories and see your confidence level grow, little by little. Another great way to build confidence is to take action; every small step counts, and all your actions add up. Besides, you will learn a ton in the process. And the more you learn, the more confident you will become.
What if everything you are going through is preparing you for what you asked for? Great things may be coming your way. Keep your heart open. Keep striving. Keep believing.
Always listen to that small voice within. Whether it's about big things or insurmountable challenges or what to have for dinner, your best guide is inside.
Sometimes, failure and adversity are the strongest motivators. Some people get off track and never get up or never even try to get back into the swing of things. Others get stronger, more motivated and driven after getting knocked down. They pick up the pieces and move on with a renewed sense of purpose and determination. So which category do you fall into?
Some people give too much power to others. They rely too heavily on other people's opinions of them. You do not owe any explanation to anybody. You live your life the way you want, make your own decisions and do not constantly seek approval. What others think does NOT matter. You are in charge of your life. You are in control. And you are in driver's seat. Remember that.
I think a lot of people developed a different perspective on life and careers as a result of the prolonged pandemic. Back in the day, financial incentives were a priority for most employees. Now, most folks are looking for meaning. They want to make a difference, influence lives and do good...rather than go through the motions or constantly pursue financial rewards and material things. There is so much more to life than money.
