✨ART CLASSES: Watercolor Tulips. ✨

This is a simple drawing and painting project, Watercolor Tulips, to do this Spring with children of all ages. Older kids worked with watercolor and they can experiment by adding two colors to the watercolor tulips. Younger kids use the tempera paint to their art project, so they mix together yellow, blue and red colors for getting the new colors. For our background we select a color that allows the tulips to stand out.

I always say that it’s great to control one part of the art so that another part of the process can be free flowing and expensive.

🔸ART LESSON: Monochromatic Landscapers 🔸
These were created by 6-10 years old kids, students learned about the lightness and darkness of a color. Then we talk about landscapes and how things further away look lighter because of all the things in the air. The things closest to us look the darker. Then they drew their own landscapes of mountains, hills, trees and castles and painted them using new found knowledge!

⭐️ ART LESSON: Sunset with Trees Silhouette. ⭐️

We used our liquid tempera paint for this project. For the sunset background I did warn kids about blending only three colors together and with my step by step direction. The trees were painted with the black color and the fine brushes. I must admit that although many of my students found this project fun, many found it extremely challenging.

ART LESSON: Simply Cute Snowy Owls. The oil pastel and crayons worked so well to drew our owl and then we just cut it out to glue on black paper.

I help my students develop aesthetic understanding and appreciation for art, as well as help them to discover and develop their talent in the field of art.
The lessons will be customized on student ages, interests and skills level, as well as the supplies that you have on hand.

Private Virtual & In-Person Classes (only NYC) Art Classes are available 7 days a week.
