Every time Dakota walks into the studio, she brings her own energy with her 🔥
Talent, personality, creativity, hard work, she truly is one of a kind 💛
We’re so proud of the progress she continues to make and love watching her grow stronger as both a singer and performer 🎤✨
Today she’s singing “Mistake” by Mimi and we’re excited to see where all this talent takes her next 💛🚂

Watching Vera grow from her very first day at Yellow Train Music has been such a beautiful journey 💛
For us as a studio, one of the biggest things is seeing our students truly enjoying their classes, enjoying the music, learning, exploring, and becoming more confident step by step ✨
We believe in those little baby steps, because every small improvement eventually becomes something BIG 🎤
We are still working, still learning, and still developing different parts of Vera’s artistry, from vocals and acting to movement, stage performance, and emotional connection
And today we simply want to stop for a moment and celebrate her progress 💛
Most importantly, we want to say thank you to all of our students. You make Yellow Train Music what it is, and you are truly the best 💛🚂

Brielle came to class and said she wanted to sing “Someone Like You” by Adele 🎤🤍
It was our first time trying it, so we listened, explored the melody, and then took away the original track. Just Brielle’s voice, a microphone, and live piano 🎹✨
This is one of my favorite ways to work on a new song. Without a backing track to hide behind, we can really listen to the voice and explore phrasing, dynamics, tone, pitch, and emotion. Little by little, the student stops simply following the original artist and starts discovering their own interpretation.
That’s what vocal training is about. Not just learning how to sing a song, but learning how to make music 💛🚂

Sometimes all you need to do is leave your student alone and let the real performance begin 😂🎤
No teacher. No pressure. Just music, confidence, and main character energy ✨
Meanwhile, the teacher is secretly recording from the corner 👀😂

POV: you just learned the word “glissando” and suddenly you can’t stop finding it, singing it, and practicing it everywhere 😂🎤
Learning vocal techniques becomes way more fun when you start recognizing them in the songs you already love ✨
