The Purpose Career Lab starts THIS THURSDAY 9/15!

It's a 6-week career change accelerator for social impact professionals.

This is for you if you’re committed to making positive impact through your work, but…

🚩The culture in your org is draining you
🚩You’ve never actually felt fulfilled in your career
🚩Your boss is unpredictable, absent, or actively hostile
🚩You’re experiencing burnout or on the road to it.

But changing jobs is no small thing.

You can stick it out punishing yourself into sending tons of cold applications every week, feeling stuck to your desk, isolated and questioning your worth…

Or you can find a supportive community of Changemakers like you who are also going through career change.

In the course of 6 weeks in the Purpose Career Lab, you’ll gain:
🪴 Clarity of what you want next from your career and how to get there
💜 A growing network of people worthy of your energy and passion who can lead you to your next role
🎤 The skills to tell your story in a compelling and authentic way for employers.

Plus, you’ll
➡️work through the fears that hold you back from pursuing your dreams,
➡️strengthen your ability to make decisions with ease,
➡️and create a clear actionable roadmap for the next 6 months.

My clients are dramatically increasing their incomes, courageously speaking out about issues they care about (and getting known for it!), and making leaps and bounds in seniority in one year or less.

I want all of this for you!

You got this.

*And I'm so confident in the course, group coaching, and resources that if it doesn't work, I'm going to pay you back. (details on the website)

One year ago today, I was really effing sick.
I shared my story and what I've learned about being an entrepreneur with an autoimmune disorder in an article on Linkedin.
Thank you for reading and sharing. It's scary to be vulnerable, but my hope is that by doing so, it helps to destigmatize speaking openly about health issues and gives us all a bit more space to prioritize our wellbeing above the "shoulds."

One year ago today, I got a call I couldn't answer. It was from my endocrinologist, and I sent her to voicemail because I had completely lost my voice.

✔️ Find out why so many people are quitting and get tips on how to make the decision.

Thinking about quitting? (scroll down to the next paragraph for the tl;dr)
A lot of people are talking about "The Great Resignation" and "The Great Reshuffle" - but I know you're more than a number or a trend. This is about your individual experience, but it's also about collective change and a mass movement of people who have been exploited in the workplace. I've been coaching mid-career purpose-driven professionals for over 5 years now and I've fallen in love with helping the do-gooders of the world to thrive, but I'd like to help you also be in community and part of a collective to effect even more positive change.

That's why I'm seeking interviews with mid-career professionals (especially those with social impact, justice, healing and purpose in mind) who are considering or actively eager to quit their jobs. In return, I'm offering early access at a special rate to a new program I'm building. Please help me spread the word by liking and sharing this post...without making things awkward for your friends who are considering quitting!

DM me to find out if you're a good fit for the research!

Here's a little more background:
I've been coaching mid-career social impact professionals for over 5 years now. It can take time to spot patterns, but some big ones have been standing out to me recently:

1. I love working with folks who are at the terrifying precipice of change - job change, entire career transition, and big life decisions (breaking up, moving to a new city or country especially)

2. The people I've worked with have massively grown their networks of meaningful professional relationships (like 5x or more in many cases!)

3. AND all of my clients who have been moving from one full-time role to another full-time role have increased their incomes by a minimum of $10k - and several by as much as $50k.

The longest last year photo dump. This is weirdly my first photo dump but I felt like I don’t share enough messy photos here. Over the last year I’ve learned that my friends are truly incredible, my partner and I can be in lockdown in a studio apartment for 6 months and still want to spend more time together, it is so very special to get to spend time with my parents and family members - in person or virtually (those virtual defers were honestly the best), sharpened my skills of talking about racial justice with the kiddo who gets it more than most grown ups, and I can’t believe I left my corporate job to start my own business less than a year ago. I’ll share more details about the pics and photo ID in comments below.

What is worse than failure?

Living in a daze? Feeling scared or change? Not making the impact you want to in the world or worse - contributing to a company or organization actually doing harm?

I’ve experienced all of these sticky reasons to stay in place and avoid risks. And yet, over the last few years, I’ve challenged them all with my own bold choices and those of my incredible clients.

Getting unstuck isn’t rocket science, but it often requires some fun coaching tools, a group of open minded people, and some creativity.

Join me next Tuesday, May 25th to do just that and see how fulfilling your life can be.
