10 million years ago, Megalodon didn't rule the oceans alone. It shared the apex predator throne with Livyatan melvillei — a monstrous 60-foot raptorial s***m whale.

Unlike modern s***m whales that only have teeth in their lower jaw to eat squid, Livyatan had massive 14.2-inch (36 cm) functional teeth in BOTH upper and lower jaws — the largest biting teeth of any known animal in history (excluding tusks).
