“Pride is a weakness because it makes us feel like we can only depend on ourselves. Pride makes us unwilling to receive help when we need it. Pride can make us stubborn to those closest to us. Pride can make us ignorant to the real issues that need to be addressed
But, there’s also strength in pride… We must have a level of confidence in day-to-day life, so knowing our own self-worth is important. If you don’t recognize your own accomplishments and self-worth, no-one else will and they’ll take advantage of that.”
