✨ Breakfast lately ✨ Mahalo to Kaimuki High School cafeteria staff for preparing fresh meals for our students daily! Breakfast starts at 7:15am. Come early because Early is On Time! 🤩

Did you know? ALL of our students receive 100% free breakfast and lunch everyday thanks to our federal Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) status! 🍎🥪

Friendly reminder:
✅ Student meals are for students only
🚫 Parents/guardians & guests may not eat or share food from a student’s tray
🍳 Adult breakfast is available to purchase in the front office for $3.50

🌟 Ala Wai Teacher Feature 🌟 A HUGE congrats to our 3rd grade inclusion teacher, Mrs. Shinsato, who just won a scholarship for pursuing her Master of Library and Information Science degree from the Hawaii Association of Librarians! 🙌🏼

She was also awarded a $3000 Good Idea Grant from the Public Schools of Hawaii Foundation to provide innovative STEM learning opportunities on decomposition, sustainability, and native plants 🌱 We’re so lucky to have Mrs. Shinsato on our team! 😊😁

Save the date! 🌟 Open House is in two weeks—Thursday, August 20. Come early at 4pm to check out our Library Book Fair, community booths & afterschool programs, and pick up a yummy drink from Milky Way Hawaii.

We’ll also have musubis for the first 100 people to check-in, and free school supplies for all students. This is a great opportunity to meet our school support staff and your child’s teacher. Hope to see you there!!😄🤙🏽
