Free Divorce Law in Hawaii Seminar Comes to Kapolei Family Court

KAPOLEI, Hawaii – Divorce Law in Hawaii, a free seminar that has helped thousands of people since it was first offered in 2002, has begun conducting seminars for the public at the Ronald T.Y. Moon Judiciary Complex in Kapolei. The first Kapolei session was held on July 5. Additional seminars are scheduled through December 2017:
What: Divorce Law in Hawaii – Kapolei Family Court
Schedule: Wednesdays: July 19, August 2, August 16, August 30, September 13, September 27, October 11, October 25, November 8, November 22, December 6, December 20.
Times: 12:15 to 1:15 p.m.
Location: Ronald T.Y. Moon Judiciary Complex
4675 Kapolei Parkway
Kapolei, Hawaii 96707-3272
Cost: Free
Parking: In the metered stalls in front of the courthouse and detention facility.
Divorce Law in Hawaii is co-sponsored by the Family Court and the Mediation Center of the Pacific (MCP), Hawaii’s largest provider of divorce mediation services. It provides practical guidance on the law and process of divorce, divorce resolution options, and resolving a divorce without conflict or unnecessary expense. Divorce mediation as a possible settlement option is explained, and those in attendance will be offered the chance to enroll in a mediation process with MCP.
Registration: There is no registration required for Divorce Law in Hawaii. Participants should go to the bailiff’s desk on the third floor of the Family Court in Kapolei at 4675 Kapolei Parkway, prior to the presentation.
