This year, Nā Hua Ea will be hosted on the ʻāina of Ulupō Nui in Kailua, in partnership with , following their monthly community workday TOMORROW, July 12. Please join us for either/both parts: the workday from 8:30 - 12 pm and a poetry/music sharing from 2-4pm. There will be lunch served in between these parts of the day, and you will also have the opportunity to walk around and/or create in response to a prompt to be shared following the workday.
The theme will be ke ea o ka ʻāina, inspiring us to think about how our ea (and the ea of our comrades and relatives around the globe) is inextricably tied to the land.
Please bring a poem or mele to share, if you have one (or two!). We hope you’ll join us!
Mahalo to all who make it possible!
