Many members of the Chaminade University of Honolulu, HI 'ohana remember Dr. Larry Price as a beloved MBA faculty member, mentor, coach, broadcaster, and community leader. Throughout his remarkable career, he inspired countless students both inside and outside the classroom.
A Celebration of Life honoring Dr. Larry Price will be held on Sunday, June 28. Alumni, former students, colleagues, and friends whose lives were touched by Larry are encouraged to attend and celebrate his extraordinary legacy.
The service will be held at the Neal S. Blaisdell Concert Hall. Visitation begins at 12:30 p.m., with the ceremony to follow at 2 p.m.

Chaminade alumna Taylee Miyamura, MSCP ’23, a counselor at Mililani Middle School, was recently honored with the 2025 Hawaiʻi Milken Teacher of Promise Award for her leadership, dedication to student wellbeing, and commitment to creating supportive, student-centered learning environments.

Representing some of Chaminade’s earliest graduating classes—1961, 1962, and 1963—the Pioneer Alumni Group has been gathering since the early 2000s, proof that the Silversword connection truly lasts a lifetime. Though the group has grown smaller over time, their Chaminade pride and the bonds they share continue to bring them together.
