May 30, 2026 marks the 159th anniversary of Queen Emma Kaleleonālani’s founding of St. Andrew’s Priory School for Girls, known today as St. Andrew’s Schools. 🌹
Opened on the feast of Ascension Day in 1867, our school commemorates the occasion each year with a service in St. Andrew’s Cathedral, followed by the Coral Cross Ceremony in Robinson Courtyard. Our historic 9-foot coral cross is decorated by our Priory junior class as a gift to the school. ✝️
