Since 2007, the Mānoa Alcohol Project (MAP) received Anheuser Busch funding to conduct a social norms campaign targeting the undergraduate student body at UH Mānoa (approximately 13,500 students). The success of this project is demonstrated by reductions in misperceptions of the norms, increases in healthy behaviors, and decreases in negative consequences from alcohol, as indicated in the 2009 annual report to the national Social Norms Institute.
